How To Join The BES-State Fund Group
Whether you are currently insured with State Fund through some other group program or individually, or if you are insured through a private carrier, consider joining the Builders' Exchange-State Fund Comp Group today!
If Currently Insured With State Fund
If you are already individually insured with State Fund or with another State Fund Group Program, just call the State Fund at (209) 476-2625 and tell them you want to be converted to the Builders' Exchange Group Comp Program.
If Insured With Another Carrier
If you are insured with another insurance carrier the best time to move your policy is on the renewal date. A few months before your policy renewal date just call State Fund at 1-800-727-5792 and request that a pre-evaluation questionnaire be sent to you (you may also pick one up at Exchange office). After you return the completed form to State Fund you will be contacted to review how you can benefit from joining the Builders' Exchange-State Fund Comp Group.

Under California law it is unlawful for an insurer to promise the future payment of dividends under an unexpired workers' compensation policy or to misrepresent the conditions for dividend payment. Dividends are payable only pursuant to conditions determined by the Board of Directors or other governing boards of the company following expiration.
It is a misdemeanor for any insurer or officer or agent thereof, or any insurance broker or solicitor to promise the payment of future workers' compensation dividends.
